The Holidays in North Charleston are upon us and all of the City’s exciting festivities are located in the Park Circle Area.  There will be activities at the community centers for the kids and magnificent light displays around the circle that will be even better than last year.

Bring your pre-schoolers out to Armory Park on December 4th and 5th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon for the North Charleston Recreation Department’s Winter Wonderland.  This FREE event is an experience of fun and exciting holiday activities with special guests, Mr. and Mrs. Claus.  Pre-registration is required and all children must have a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian.  Call 745-1028 for more information.

Join us in the Park Circle Community Center on December 6th from 8:00 am to 10:00 am as we enjoy our annual Breakfast with Santa.  The Auditorium will be decorated with Christmas Trees and tinsel and all of the children will have a chance to visit Santa.  Breakfast with Santa would not be complete without a hearty portion of pancakes, grits, sausage, scrambled eggs and juice/milk.  Bring the whole family for only $4.00 per person.

Last year’s Annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting were better than ever.  Come out to the Christmas Festival on December 6th as the activities will begin at 4:00 pm with the parade beginning at 6:00 pm.  With many participating in the parade, from WWII Veterans to High School Marching Bands, this year promises to be a spectacular show.  Apart from the parade, come enjoy hay rides, food vendors, performers and live entertainment.  Also, this year features the Inaugural Holiday Market with craft vendors and farmers.
