The 90-minute event will be held at the South of Broadway Theater located at 1080 E. Montague. - Gibbering Horror of Howard Ghormley: In the vein of Poe or Lovecraft stories
- Incubus: Cleverly animated story about a girl who is accosted by an evil entity in her dreams
- Unfettering the Falcons: Documentary about falcons--both the avian and Atlanta varieties
- The World, Naked as a Jaybird: Animated story about one girl's experience after the bomb goes off
Admission is $2 for members and $5 for non-members. Seating is limited to 75 persons. For more information, visit on-line or phone 843.628.5534.
Following the films, there will be a discussion led by Tori Katherman and Andy Smith of the Nickelodeon Theater, which sponsors the annual Indie Grits Film Festival in Columbia. Smith says, “We are very excited to be bringing the best of Indie Grits to Charleston and we are hope to be able to attract more of the local filmmakers and enthusiasts to our festival.”
The Nickelodeon and the Olde North Charleston Picture House are the only two non-profit movie theaters in the state of South Carolina. |
